AI & Voice Assistant Disclosure

How Robin, Kulohi's voice-first AI companion, uses AI-generated content and voice features, including important limits and member responsibilities.

Last Updated: July 30, 2026

About Robin

Robin was created to feel like a thoughtful companion.

Whether you’re sharing a story, asking a question, setting a reminder, or simply enjoying a conversation, Robin is designed to make those interactions feel natural, supportive, and personal.

Robin uses artificial intelligence (“AI”) to understand conversations, respond to requests, organize information, and personalize your experience over time.

This disclosure explains how Robin works, what AI can and cannot do, and how Kulohi protects the trust you place in these conversations.

Kulohi is operated by Gremlin Labs LLC, doing business as Kulohi.

1. What Robin Does

Robin is designed to help members:

- Have natural conversations - Remember important events - Organize Life Stories - Capture memories - Set reminders - Stay connected with people you trust and care about - Answer general questions - Encourage conversation and reflection - Help preserve personal history

Robin’s goal is to support your daily life, not replace the people who care about you.

2. How Robin Works

Robin combines conversational AI with the information you choose to share.

Depending on the features you use, Robin may:

- Understand spoken or written requests. - Generate conversational responses. - Remember information you’ve chosen to share. - Suggest reminders. - Organize memories and Life Stories. - Reference previous conversations where appropriate. - Help personalize future interactions.

Robin is designed to make conversations feel more continuous over time rather than starting over with every interaction.

3. Robin May Remember Things

One of Robin’s unique features is the ability to remember information that helps make future conversations more natural.

Examples may include:

- Important people in your life - Birthdays - Important dates - Favorite hobbies - Personal preferences - Ongoing projects - Stories you’ve chosen to preserve

This memory exists to improve your experience, not to profile or advertise to you.

Where available, you may review, edit, or remove stored information through your Kulohi settings.

4. AI Can Make Mistakes

Although Robin is designed to provide thoughtful and helpful responses, artificial intelligence is not perfect.

Robin may occasionally:

- misunderstand a question; - remember something incorrectly; - provide outdated information; - generate incomplete responses; - make factual mistakes; - misinterpret context.

For important decisions, you should verify information independently rather than relying solely on Robin.

5. Robin Is Not A Professional

Robin is not:

- a doctor; - a nurse; - a mental health professional; - a lawyer; - a financial advisor; - an emergency responder.

Robin should never be used as a substitute for professional advice or emergency services.

6. Emergencies

If you are experiencing an emergency or believe someone may be in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services immediately.

Robin cannot dispatch emergency responders or guarantee immediate assistance.

7. How Conversations Are Processed

To provide conversational features, your voice or text may be securely processed using trusted technology providers acting on behalf of Kulohi.

Processing may include:

- speech recognition; - natural language understanding; - response generation; - memory organization; - reminder creation; - conversation personalization.

Kulohi works to select providers that support strong privacy and security practices.

Robin's current response-generation path uses OpenRouter as a controlled gateway. Each request names an approved model, limits routing to code-approved providers, denies provider data collection, requests Zero Data Retention, and requires those routing parameters to be supported. Robin does not use OpenRouter's unrestricted automatic model router.

The separate direct OpenAI path is disabled by default and is not used for ordinary Robin conversations. These request-level controls apply to gateway and model-provider processing. They do not mean Kulohi stores no information. Kulohi may retain conversations, memories, and related account information according to the Privacy Policy so Robin can provide the features a member chooses to use.

Approved backend providers may use different technical systems. A Robin request may proceed only through a route that meets Kulohi's configured privacy restrictions. Kulohi does not claim that every part of its own service has Zero Data Retention.

Voice, image, file, and other provider-backed features may have different technical retention requirements. Material differences will be described before those features are made generally available.

8. Human Review

Kulohi does not routinely read your conversations.

However, limited review may occur when necessary to:

- investigate technical problems; - respond to support requests initiated by you; - investigate abuse or security concerns; - comply with legal obligations.

Whenever possible, access is limited to only what is reasonably necessary.

Provider abuse-monitoring processes may separately involve authorized provider review under the provider's own policies and controls.

9. Your Privacy

Robin conversations are treated as personal information.

Kulohi does not sell your conversations or use them for advertising.

Your conversations are handled according to our Privacy Policy and your account settings.

10. Your Control

You remain in control of your Kulohi experience.

Depending on available features, you may be able to:

- manage stored memories; - delete conversations; - update preferences; - manage Kindred permissions; - export eligible content; - close your account.

Some information may be retained where required by law or necessary to maintain the integrity of the Service.

11. Improving Robin

Robin will continue to evolve as Kulohi grows.

We may improve:

- conversational quality; - memory capabilities; - voice interactions; - personalization; - accessibility; - safety features.

Updates are intended to make Robin more helpful while continuing to respect your privacy and choices.

12. Changes to This Disclosure

As AI technology and Kulohi continue to evolve, we may update this disclosure.

When significant changes are made, we will update the “Last Updated” date and, when appropriate, provide additional notice.
