Voice-first AI companionship for assisted living residents
Kulohi is a companion app centered on Robin, a voice-first AI companion. We are exploring future assisted-living pilots for communities that want conversation, practical reminders, private connection with loved ones, and clear limits around privacy and staff access.
Exploratory only. Kulohi does not claim an active community pilot, partnership, or completed assisted-living implementation.

Current status
Kulohi is in consumer beta. An assisted-living deployment would require a separately scoped pilot agreement, implementation plan, device plan, support owner, privacy review, and resident consent. No community should rely on this page as an implementation or service commitment.
Who it is for
A familiar companion, voice-first conversation, practical reminders, and communication choices that can make room for pauses or use larger touch targets.
Kindred, Kulohi's invitation-based connection space, lets people share selected moments, photographs, visits, and messages without access to private Robin transcripts.
A potential experience for resident engagement and connection with loved ones. Kulohi is not a clinical record, staff workflow system, or replacement for resident programming.
Privacy boundary
Private Robin transcripts are not available to staff or anyone invited into Kindred simply because they help with an account, device, or membership.
Any shared message, photograph, or practical detail must use a separate sharing path and the permissions available to that person. A future pilot must document exactly what staff can see before a resident enrolls.
Before a pilot could begin
Kulohi does not assume a resident device, staff workflow, or clinical integration. A responsible pilot would define at least the following first.
What Robin cannot do
Robin does not diagnose conditions, guarantee safety, detect emergencies, dispatch help, manage medication, or replace clinical and care teams. Kulohi should be evaluated as a companion and relationship experience only.
For community leaders
Tell us about your residents, devices, how residents stay connected with people they trust, accessibility needs, and privacy expectations. A conversation is not a pilot commitment.
