Kindred

Close, even when life spreads out.

Kindred is a private relationship space for family, chosen family, and trusted people. It is designed for intentional connection without turning a member's life into a dashboard.

Product truth

Connection with a deliberate boundary

Kindred participation is invitation-based. The primary member remains at the center of what is shared and who is included.

Available in beta

Invited people, not a public network

Family members, chosen family, and trusted helpers join through invitations. Kindred is not a popularity-driven social feed.

Available in beta

Shared moments and family context

Kindred supports the separate sharing of stories, photographs, messages, visits, important dates, and useful family context as beta capabilities become available.

In development

Clearer plain-language roles

Family Member, Trusted Helper, and Family Administrator are the public role descriptions. The exact controls for each responsibility are still being simplified and verified.

The boundary

Private Robin conversations stay private.

Kindred does not provide family members with Robin transcripts. Paying for a membership, receiving an invitation, or helping with an account does not create permission to read private conversations.

A member can choose to share a story, photograph, update, or practical detail through a separate product action. Kindred is not a caregiver surveillance system.

Where it is going

Richer connection, still by invitation

In development

Messages, media, and visits

The family experience is being expanded and hardened across messaging, shared media, visit coordination, and relationship history. Availability may vary during beta.

Longer-term vision

A lasting private family space

Kindred may grow into a place where generations can understand the stories, relationships, and decisions a member chose to preserve.
